Baleigh is the newest member to the CBC team, a Junior at James Island Charter High School. Her love for fashion and design make her an excellent fit. She also brings a fresh approach and is able to think outside the box, making her a key team member.
She is currently studying the QBN curriculum and is looking foward to taking her CBA exam and becoming the third team member to earn this designation.
When Baleigh is not working or involved in one of her many school activites, she loves to read, surf and design her own clothes, she is an avid Doctor Who fan.
Baleigh Shortreed
Since 1997 Charleston Balloon Company's owners, Jill and Scott Shortreed have been designing exceptional balloon and event decor for celebrities, weddings, social, civic and corporate events.
What started as a hard to get romance and a part-time event business in New Jersey soon flourished into a marriage and full-time retail party store and event company. Their success has led them to decorate events at the Stone Pony for Bruce Springsteen, The Fray, Google, Political Events for Senators and Congressmen along with hundreds of private and corporate parties.
After visiting the Charleston area, the Shortreed's decided to bring their talent south and began decorating the Southeast where they relocated with their family in 2004.
