Recognized as an industry leader, Jill has earned an exceptional reputation for her ability to design and create event decor for a wide range of clients, from celebrity events to private parties.
As the the principal owner of Charleston Balloon Company, Jill is the creative force behind it's success. Having a background in marketing and finance, Jill can take any event and make it centerstage while staying on budget. As an award winning artist her designs have been featured on TV, International websites, blogs and print publications. Jill has been invited to teach at several event conventions and is a charter member of Your Balloon Pros, an elite group of artist from across the country.
When Jill is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, reading on the beach and a morning coffee watching the sunrise.

Jill Shortreed, CBA
Since 1997 Charleston Balloon Company's owners, Jill and Scott Shortreed have been designing exceptional balloon and event decor for celebrities, weddings, social, civic and corporate events.
What started as a hard to get romance and a part-time event business in New Jersey soon flourished into a marriage and full-time retail party store and event company. Their success has led them to decorate events at the Stone Pony for Bruce Springsteen, The Fray, Google, Political Events for Senators and Congressmen along with hundreds of private and corporate parties.
After visiting the Charleston area, the Shortreed's decided to bring their talent south and began decorating the Southeast where they relocated with their family in 2004.
